Theres a bit of a craze at the moment with a lot of people starting up their own business within a company called "F------ l------" which sells Aloe Vera products (and possibly other products)

I do not have an issue with Aloe Vera being used for Psoriasis, BUT I have a huge issue with people selling it to Psoriasis sufferers telling them its a "cure" which I have been targeted with.  Aloe Vera is incredibly soothing for Psoriasis in personal experience, but it doesn't cure it and I just wanted to make a topic on this as I'm getting fed up of people taking advantage of people with health problems and selling them a product that won't cure them just so they can earn an extra buck!

While I'm at it, you can shove your aloe vera juice as well that will "cure" my Crohns.  s17

EDIT BY Fred: Company name removed as they are scammers and spammers.

Amanda I will edit the name as they are nothing but a bunch pf Spammers and Scammers, agents soon find out it's an easy way to loose their friends.

They are often trying to spam their crap on here, but they soon get shown the door.

It is frustrating seeing these companies selling a psoriasis  " cure" which we know doesn't exist.  Unfortunately I don't think there's anything that can be done apart from what you are doing by reporting it here .

Thank you for bringing it up as its good to make other members aware of this scam

It just seems to have become very popular recently and I'm unsure why.  These people can be very persuasive and I worry that if you're feeling vulnerable or just feel like you're out of ideas (as I did at the start of the year despite having this condition majority of my life) you'll be roped into this.  Not the worst thing you could be roped into I guess, but unfortunately it will only lead to disappointment.

Yes there is, we give them Zero publicity even by mentioning their name. We ban them as soon as they join, we block them on our Twitter accounts, and advise people that there is no cure and these scammers will only empty your wallet.

It's been around a while as have a lot of these scams, unfortunately people want easy money and people with psoriasis are an easy target. But you can rest assured the majority of the agents/affiliates will loose the most, not only the money they put into it but also their friends and in some cases their family.  Big Grin

They haven't targeted me anywhere although I have seen them on Twitter

And Amanda you are right they will target vulnerable desperate people when they are at a low ebb, but as Fred says give them no publicity apart from warning other members and friends elsewhere that this is just a money raising scam..... The best it will do is ease an itch
I still think it's good of you to raise the subject of scams again although it does look as if you are swearing   Big Grin

Yep I agree it's a good idea to raise awareness of the scams, but they will think any publicity is good. Just look at the one that even goes as far to tell you it's a scam, yet they get money by people clicking the link.

Jim ******** See above.
