Well that was short lived, score is back up to 33 today.

I don't know Jim, I've given up trying to work out what causes things to go up. After 30 years of psoriatic arthritis I have learnt there is no pattern concerning food or drink, the weather and the moon yes but I've never found any difference with food or drink.

Could be my walk but it was only half a Km, and although my feet and knees are worse today so are my shoulders arms and fingers.

I'm starting to think methotrexate is going to be one of those roller coaster rides.
Day1 Locked up.
Day2 Locked up, headache, feeling sick.
Day3 Slight relief, but still headache and feeling sick.
Day4 Moving around a little, no headache, small bit of nausea.
Day5 Getting stiff again, no headache, no nausea.
Day6 Locked up.
Day7 Fed up to the back teeth with the whole bloody week.

I'm continuing for now as I have to give it chance, but if it's going to be so up and down all the time I would rather go it alone.

Hi Fred sorry that it's not going as you had hoped but don't despair as I found it up and down until I had been on it a while until it settled down though your gallup round the village is not going to help it to be fair at this stage. Just chill a bit Fred I think you will be fine.

Give up any treatment and see how it goes, I done it years ago and managed to get by for a long time. I just kept taking pain killers when it was really bad and kept pushing myself harder to fight it, today I have got used to just taking a quick shot every 2 - 3 months and forgetting about it.

Yes I ended up in a hell of a state in hospital but I got through 20 years or so without any treatment, so what do I have to loose by giving it another try?

Stop Methotrexate and Stelara, get positive, push my self, take a few pain killers if needed, get stubborn and beat the f*****g thing on my own.

@Dave I'm naturally a lazy old sod, but I'm getting a bit fed up just doing nothing.

I think you need to give it longer to see if it's helping. A slight improvement and then backwards is discouraging, but perhaps if you continue the improvements will increase. Sounds better than stopping everything and taking pain meds to me. But... it's not me so I don't really know what you're going through and you'll do as you see fit. Just saying, it's not been very long yet and hopefully you'll start seeing more improvements than setbacks.

So far I'm saying I will definitely have the next two shots, I may go the whole three months. But at the moment whatever happens my mind is set on stopping after the three months is up, I don't want to stay on it for long and only went on it to get moving again.

I agree it's not been long, but so far the negatives outweigh the positives. And as you know I'm so against methotrexate, and I think you also know how stubborn I am so it doesn't stand much chance of winning me over.
