I would say that anything is possible... After all, womens hormonal cycles are influenced by the lunar cycle, maybe there are other hormonal/immuological factors which are influenced that can lead to a flare of arthritis &/or psoriasis..
I haven't ever noticed much difference and know exactly what the lunar cycles are (and when) due to a love of astronomy.

Sorry if TMI but I do notice that my feet tend to flare up right before my period starts which usually coincides with a full moon too.

Thought I would give this a bump as I've been feeling a bit rough the last couple of days, I thought it was down to going for more appointments about the lumps they keep finding in me.
But it's not it's Full Moon tonight and it's shining like a big fat spoon. I have had a slight feeling of a cold, been feeling very tired, my bones have been aching, and I have a small flare-up between my toes (as bloody usual) So yes I still believe there is something in relation with the moon and my body.

Mignt be recognizable.
My feet hurt the last days and also my right pointing finger is a bit stiff. But I don't have a cold or a lack of energy. Sports are going fine.

Not updated this for a while, but the last few days have been awful. Probably the worst I have been for a few years with psoriatic arthritis, the psoriasis is fine and still almost completely clear but my right side from the neck down to my fingers is locked up and as painful as hell.
There was a full moon yesterday

I have just injected my 90mg of Stelara and my P is clear apart from in and around my ears which got worse when I started the Stelara , I was about 80% covered when I first started the Stelara so I am more than happy with how I am at the moment. I had 9 years on MTX the last 3 years by injection but the side effects got too bad to continue and it never completely cleared the P anyway but it helped the PsA quite a bit. When I finished the MTX they wanted a 12 week period before I started the Stelara and in that time I was 80% covered again from about 15% . |
