Fred it's not good news, we had hoped in the middle of December that it was working and it was going well and your score was looking good lets hope it's not the Stelara starting to give up .... Are you due another shot soon ... Or could you bring one forward ?
Whatever you do Im sure you have a plan B
I hope things improve very soon ..... Is there anything you have done apart from wallpapering that may have brought this on .
I will, keep,my fingers crossed it's just a blip and you will bounce back
Jim ( no hug)
  • Thanks for missing out the Man Hug.
  • No I cant move it forward, I'm on every 8 weeks instead of 12 as it is, but still have three weeks to go till my next shot so it's not an option.
  • It's not the wallpapering that's done it, doing stuff can aggravate psoriatic arthritis and make it painful but this is definitely a lock-up.
  • Yes I have plane B

[+]Spoiler
Option #1 I have some Tramadol left over from when i had a trapped nerve.
Option #2 I still have two thirds of the Jim Beam left and tough it out.
Option #3 Both of the above.

Sh*t Fred, that is very unpleasant to hear.
Could it be that the weather is doing harm, I have a little more problems in my right hand also, more painful and inconvenient when driving the motorcycle.

Whish I could help you in some way.
Let's put a count down for the nest three weeks. Vingt et un days to go. Wave

Yes I'm hoping it's a mixture of the Winter Blues, The Damp Weather we have been having, and I've just found out it's full moon Tomorow and you know how that affects me: Full Moon Syndrome !  Rolleyes

But it is interesting to read you are having problems too albeit slight, but you are still young and by what I remember never gone through the locked up feeling. But there could be a relation in psoriatic arthritis and one or more of the above, as opposed to something I've been doing or eaten.

As for helping: It helps me being amongst the members of Psoriasis Club, I'm reading more than posting at the moment  Smile

Oh and counting down in French isn't going to help me, can you count up instead.  Wink

Ok. Great there is at least something that gets your mind off it.

About locking up, the only thing that has been locked up with me, and I don't know if that is equal to your locking up, has been my right pointing finger. That has been twice as thick and I could hardly bend it anymore. Currently it is impossible to see a difference between my right and left one. No other parts of my body were locked up. Yes my feet have been hurting terribly, but they didn't lock up.

Fred, I hate hearing that things took a turn for the worse. Hopefully, as others said, it's more to do with the weather. Hope things improve for you!!!!

Hi Fred,

I'm sorry to see you in such a predicament. Hopefully it is just a winter thing, but if not I hope that you are put on another effective therapy quickly. Too often I read of people reaching a crisis before anything substantial is done. Remember that the squeaky wheel gets the oil.

Cheers and good luck,

Bill
