Good morning fellow P sufferers 

Bear with me.................

This morning i had my ELF test done.

I got told that the results will not be ready until mid Jan !!!!!

So, i have to keep on slapping lots of Aveeno on me until then.

Now, how many on here use Aveeno products ?

I have Aveeno bath oil, cream, lotion & body wash.

All are very good indeed at reducing the scaling of my P.

It seems that the oatmeal in them works.

I know that Aveeno do shampoo but not sure if you can get it from the GP ? Anyone know if you can ????

Right, time to go & play on the swings now.

Not something I've tried although the wife swears by it for a nice soft skin

I use the Aveeno Eczema Therapy Moisturizing Cream and love it! I use Revision Vit C lotion on my face before moisturizing. Not sure it helps any better than just using a moisturizer but since my face is clear, I keep using it.

Tell you what Jim, ask the missus to put some on your're skin, see what you think ?

What are these Kat ?
The Aveeno one you use might be just for the USA, though i could be wrong !!! lol

Sorry for taking so long to respond, I've been absent for the past few days.  The Aveeno one caught my eye because of it saying "Eczema Therapy" so I figured what the heck, I'll give it a try.  In all honesty, it probably has the exact same ingredients as the other Aveeno creams and is only labeled the way it is to entice shoppers like myself who fall for the "ooooh if this helps with eczema then it might be better than the regular cream".  (Yes, I'm still gullible at times)  but I like using it and it's a great moisturizer! 

As for the Revision face cream, my gp is also part owner (I think) of the spa next to his office.  I know every year I get a coupon from my gp for a free facial.    He (my doctor) doesn't push you to visit the spa, but I was looking for something good to use on my face since I had scaling and redness and didn't want to just use any moisturizer on my face so I gave them a visit.  The manager there sat down with me and we discussed it and she recommended the Vit C moisturizer.  It wasn't cheap and I don't know if it helps better than any "regular" face moisturizer but I'm giving it a try.  Once I run out I'll go back to my normal moisturizer for my face and see if I notice any difference.  Since I am on meds and light therapy I don't know how much the clearing of my face was from that or how much the moisturizer helped or not tbh.

I have tried alot of the Aveeno products especially the bath ones.I also do the Dead Sea Salt baths.I bath at least 3 times a week in the salts.I order it online i get a 5lb bucket for about $25 so I use about half a cup in the bath tub.I am on Enbrel injections which is helping the PSA but not the psoriasis thus far.Today was my 10th shot so I'll give it time.I guess we can't have everything we want in life.I love the Aveeno face cream I use it every night.Hey I think I have found the fountain of youth Ha
