This is a quote from a study of nb- uvb and puva for skin cancer "No association was found between NB-UVB exposure alone (without PUVA) and any skin cancer. ". I would post the link but I am not sure if it is allowed. I have also cut way back on sun exposure to help offset the exposure.

It's our policy and has been since we started Psoriasis Club. We choose to be independent and it's clearly stated at the sign up page. Psoriasis Club is about peoples personal experience and for offering support, it's not for sharing links to other sites. If you are not happy with our policy then maybe Psoriasis Club is not for you.

About the link between stelara and cancer...If you search through a certain database about medical research you may find a study from 2015 which conclude there is no higher risk.

But since a lot of people are on stelare a few of them develop cancer, but correlation is not causation. You might as well wonder if people with an autoimmune disease have more chance of developing cancer.

People with Psoriasis do have more comorbidiy risks than people who are healthy. It is not clear why this is so, but it seems to be. My doctor over here in NL is very keen on it.

So there is always the risk of getting 'something' extra. Which basically gives me an inconvenient feeling.

Why? Well they don’t know. Is it because you have an auto immune disease ? And does that trigger comorbities? Or is it because of the medication? I heard yesterday of someone using a cetain medication that gives him lower white blood cell's, that the dermatologist said that he should come off the medication because of that, but that the oncology doctor said to say on the medication as it was cancer reducing.

So it may very well be that medication to lower the auto immune activity of your body, will also lower the risk of cancer.
But again, no research on that is available as the bio's are still young.
