Mine is certainly worse in the winter, much angrier and patches get so dry and sore, without constant care they crack and bleed.
I moisturise twice a day and try to drink more water (not sure the water helps but its a good thing to do anyway i guess)
Staying warm and well covered seems to help mine i have taken to wearing long sleeved tshirts and tights under my clothes which seems to help.

Yes water is excellent for Psoriasis and your whole body come to that, there are many health benefits including keeping your skin supple and flushing out toxins. I'm not sure but I think the human body is well over 50% water so we should keep drinking it otherwise we dehydrate.

As to how much you should drink, I think it's around 1 - 2 Lt per day.

Though I find it difficult in the winter to drink water I mix a small amount of fruit syrup in to make it more interesting, Summer is no problem I drink loads of it. Some say having hot water drinks like Tea is ok too but I'm not keen on Tea, and although I like Coffee I try not drink to much.

I love coffee but it has to be strong so i try to only have one or two a day, i find it fairly easy to get through about one and a half litres of water a day. I buy the cheap sparkling water from Tesco its only about 25p for 2 litres, i think its just tap water with bubbles but i find it nicer than still water.

A agree with the "warm", for me that means that some pretty heavy exercise does help a lot, the blood keeps on flowing and I feel that I am significantly more flexible.

50% is the minimum a human body consists of, it is between 50% and 75% normally.

Remember that the bubbles, Carbondioxide, make the water a bit saur, pH minus I thought, I don't know what the effects are of that.

That's a good point about the bubbles, I had never thought about that. I should exercise more I do belong to a gym but lack the discipline I'm afraid.

Noooooooo To boring, take things in moderation and don't eat to much junk/processed food. But most off al enjoy your life, you only get one shot at it and it's very short. Wink

Oegh! Mike !!! Whip Exercise is good for you! Makes life more enjoyable. Big Grin So go to the gym, I advise a group lesson, then you can get acquainted with people which makes it more easy to go the next time.

I'm to shy for group sessions to be honest. I normally stick to the treadmill which I do enjoy when I make the effort. But even there I feel like the odd one out trying to keep covered up when everyone else is in shorts and t shirts.

I was the same would never join a gym because as you say you are the only one in long sleeves and trousers, and sweating profusely and wishing you could strip down to shorts and t shirt.

That's why I took up cycling as it's something you can do alone and you don't look odd covered up.
These days with the treatment I'm on I don't have that problem, If I had my time again I would have pushed my dermatologist into putting me on to the treatment I'm on much earlier, as it's relatively safe, unlike the steroid creams that cause all sorts of problems.

I don't do much cycling now, but it's nice in the warm weather to be "normal"on the beach
