I don't plan on using again, was just a test. I will wait until my catch up appointment on the 21st to see what the dermatologist has said after seeing the photographs. Also I don't fancy telling off from the doctor either

Good evening all. I had a letter today from the doctors referring me to the hospital dermatology department at last! Appointment 26th may, so a little wait.

Great news that you are moving on to  a dermatologist ...hopefully now you are on the radar, you will get some proper care   at least the UV has given you some respite

Excellent news, and not too long to wait either (for the UK).
I would strongly suggest you read up on all the various treatments before you go and have an idea of what sort of treatment you will be happy to accept. They will want to push you down the topicals first before they contemplate UV or orals/bio's. Play on how it is affecting your life and I always find that you get better treatment if two of you go in to the appointment take a better half parent good friend, it does help. If nothing else two of you recalling the appointment gives a more rounded memory if what transpired. 
Good luck and I hope you get the UV. It can be very good. It did help me but only for a very short period of time although some people do get substantial remission. Be prepared for a wait. Our Dermy UV is not far off 6 months wait list.

That's very good news Laura now you will get sorted. It may take a while to find what works for you and they will start at the bottom and work there way up. (Treatment wise not as in your body)  

Yes John has a good point "Take someone with you if you can" I always take Mrs Fred with me and she has sometimes mentioned things that the dermatologist wanted to check out, plus it helps if you are nervous or don't get on to well with your dermatologist (though the latter shouldn't happen, but if it does you have back up)
