I'm pleased to show some new Psoriasis Club Cards.

I have now removed the old ones so if you do use the cards you will need to download the new ones from this link:

https://psoriasisclub.org/PCcards.pdf

Once you have downloaded the PDF you can print of an A4 page with 8 cards.

*Please do not put them out anywhere without the owners consent.

*Be careful if you approach a stranger to offer a card as some people may be very concious of their psoriasis and you could offend.

I would like to thank a friend (not a member) for making the new Psoriasis Club Cards for us.

Lovely logo, looks fab.
You are right about causing offence, years ago I mentioned someone's obvious psoriasis (my psoriasis was also obvious and on show) and they didn't want to talk about it. I have since learned to keep quiet..
I think it's sad, going by the stats there must be a large number of people who are hiding it or I guess if it's not on an exposed part of the body, never mention it - which of course is up to them and completely understandable - but psoriasis is a disproportionately unknown disease whereas people are much happier to talk about and reveal having eczema, I have no clue why one seems to be so much more socially acceptable than the other..

Glad you like it.  Smile

I think it takes a lot of courage to talk about psoriasis. It took me a long time till I could share with anyone outside of my family, and even then I still didn't want to talk about it.

So yes we have to be careful not to offend. Yes we want to get them here as we can help them, but I think it would b wrong to walk up to a stranger and say "I notice you have psoriasis, take this card".

In some situations it could work like with people we know or someone you have managed to befriend first.
