Then I had this old physicians assistant tell me I had psoriasis on November 4. I made an appointment with a dermatologist for November 16. Since finding out I have psoriasis I have done a lot of research online. I quit energy drinks, coffee, sugar, have been going to the tanning salon doing relight therapy bed. I am taking a probiotic, milk thistle, tumeric, fish oil, l-lysine, vit d3, lotion, dead sea salt. I have it on my arms, legs, and stomach. Right now it is worst on my arms. A considerable disease period often precedes initiation of a biologic in patients with psoriasis. Little is known about this important period in patients’ lives. Evaluation of this ‘journey’ can reveal important insights and opportunities for physicians and health care decision makers.
Objectives
(1) To describe patient and treatment characteristics until the start of biologic treatment in patients with severe psoriasis, (2) to assess shifts in early (2005-2009) versus established (2010-2015) biologics prescription periods, (3) to assess changes in hospital/day care admissions before vs. after starting biologics.......Read More of this study Here TNF and FAE psoriasis treatments effect on male fertility...

John's Recipe
Cola Ham
Dead simple recipe this.
Sorry I cant really give hard and fast measurements or timings. It doesn’t really lend itself to it. Rest assured you would have to be trying hard to make a mess of it, it can take a lot of punishment.
But be warned. Your pan will look hideous after.- all black and nasty. It will clean up - honest
Take 1 Ham or Gammon joint. I prefer a smoked joint but it doesn’t matter. Its size is dependant on how many you have to feed.
In a large pan, throw your joint in along with a couple of onions, carrots a medium potato and a stick of celery. As long as they are clean they don't need peeling, just roughly hack into quarters. Chuck in half a dozen cloves, half a dozen black pepper corns, a star anise and a couple of bay leaves. Get a 2 litre bottle of the cheapest nastiest full fat cola you can buy (don’t waste your money on the expensive stuff and don't use sugar free) and top your pan up with the cola.
Bring to the boil and simmer for an hour to an hour and a half depending on the Ham’s size and whether you are going to bake it as well. Try to keep the ham covered in the liquid. If you run out of cola just use water. when you've finished cooking remove the joint from the liqor, throw all the veggies and liquid away. Its done its job
Now it can be eaten just like it is but I like to let it cool for a bit, strip the skin off leaving a little layer of the fat. Cross cut it into a diamond pattern and stud the intersection with cloves. Drizzle with honey and a good coat of Demerara sugar whack it in a pre heated oven at 180C and bake for 40 minutes or so.
Remove from oven and let rest for 20minues before carving.
It can be eaten hot or cold. Serve with a good coarse grain mustard or chutney.
I like to serve mine with a braised Red Cabbage and potatoes that have been par-boiled, a section of the spud carved out with a teaspoon to form a lid. Scoop out a little more potato and fill with Crumbly Lancashire Cheese. Stick the lid back on over the cheese and roast for about 50 mins or until crisp and golden and the cheese al nice and melty. Then

Sneaky peak
We have an active Off Topic Board and we thought we would share some sneaky peaks with our lurkers.
Has anyone else used Qwant .It's a French search engine (available in all languages) and it follows EU rules on privacy, unlike Google that racks everything you do even if you tell it not to.
So far I'm finding it's giving good results, but wondered if anyone else had tried it.

Something a bit different from me this month as I've hit the Merlot whilst doing my column.
Phases is the new album by Angel Olsen. I'm guessing not many of you will know about her music, but this album is a mix of her early demo’s and some previously unreleased material along with a couple of new tracks and B sides.
If you track down some live video's of just her and a guitar you will see how engrossed she is in her music. This album will give you a taste of her work and some of the differences in the vocals.
My top three from the album are:
Fly on your wall
Endless Road
Sweet Dreams
She has her own style but if you take a bit of Karen Dalton, Vashti Bunyan, add a bit of Nico and Joan Baez then slip in a little Roy Orbison you will get Angel Olsen. (She will probably hate me for saying that, but it's the only way I could think of explaining her voice.)
