Anyone else had a swollen ankle with psoriasis? I have never had this before, I do have a very bad flare up from my ankles to my knees at the moment and the left one is worse than the right.

The left one is slightly swollen, it's not painful and I'm thinking it's fluid retention due to the inflammation of the psoriasis.

Any thoughts?

Get it checked out, might be the start of a nasty infection....my dad got something horrible on hs ankle with psoriasis!!!

Also try to raise leg so if it is fluid it can get processed by your kidneys Thumb

Hope nothing major

Oh thanks for that Buddy Confused I'm do to get my shot of Stelara tomorrow. My blood tests have come back and the hospital gave me the all clear to restart the Stelara, and I need it.

Oh what to do, do I take it or not! the last thing I need is an infection right now. I've had my feet up most of the day, will see how it is in the morning before deciding.

Could it be a bug bite?

Or where you very drunk tripped over but not remembered?

Can you a doc before your first shot?

If bloods where done only few days ago then they would of picked up the start of an infection I'm sure

Hope all goes ok

I did wonder about a bug bite from the garden but couldn't find any evidence. Drunk, tripped over and not remembering is not an option as I learnt at a young age not to drink and walk Tongue

I wrapped it up last night before bed and it had gone down this morning, but it came back up again when I went strimming in the garden. So I've wrapped it up again, got my feet up and have just taken my Stelara shot so if it falls off then no more cycling for me Big Grin

Forgot to update this thread.

All is back to normal now. It lasted about a week and as the psoriasis flare up slowed down so did the swelling. Don't know if it was related to the thread by Speedwing cellulitis and psoriasis as I didn't get it checked out by a doctor, but her description did sound similar.
