I'm aware that being quick to anger is a symptom of the inflammation this damn disease causes. Does anyone have suggestions for anything that actually works to keep it under control? I experience it and then am immediately overwhelmed with remorse, to the extent of getting emotions that are difficult to cope with at times. I find myself disassociating more and more for fear of it happening, which is probably the exact opposite of what I need.

Any suggestions or experience will be helpful.

Well… I don’t have experience with your anger problem. I think it is a very personal reaction. Most people will experience anxiety and shame.
But if I would experience this anger, then I would try to cope with it by means of for instance Meditation or Mindfullness or something like that. I think it is a psychological thing, and it is better to try to fight it by means of techniques with which you can control yourself. Which no doubt will not be easy. Anyway better than trying to control it with medication.
What you also can do is use a natural tranquillizer like Valeriaan.

And I would also go talk to a psychiatrist and ask his/hers opinion.

My 2 cents.
