If you are using injections for psoriasis which type do you prefer, pen type (auto injector) or prefilled syringe ?

I prefer the prefilled syringe, stab it in quick and inject slowly works best for me. I have tried the pen type for different bio's but they always sting and feel I have no control, but with the syringe I can take my time.

My answer is affected by the fact I’ve only tried pens, but I have a feeling I wouldn’t be able to do the other since I find it difficult to stick a needle in my finger just to get out a splinter!

The thing I have found out is no two bios are the same. The last bio I was on, it stung every time, but with Skyrizi I find myself carefully inspecting the site for a hole because I just don’t feel it at all. I’m guessing whether you get pain could be to do with the size of needle, the speed of the injection and the ingredients in the jab.

I get that the barrier to entry is higher than with needles for some, but once you get use to it, it’s less painful and easier to administer (most of them) once you get over that barrier. I’m a diabetic and stab myself all the time your body will tell you where to stab every time. It’s some sort of sense you get after stabbing yourself 6 times a day.

How can it be less painful than not feeling anything at all?  Smile  Not all pens are painless but quite a few are.

Oh hang on are you talking about using pens or needles? Huh
