I lost a friend on July 13, was with him when he passed, and the grief is likely to be lasting a while.  In the meantime, I'm shedding more flakes around the house than previously (and have more patches due to this stressful life event).  So it got me wondering about flaking and the residue of our scratching or shedding.  It'd be weirdly fun to read about where fresh flakes are likely to be found.

I found some while vacuuming, yesterday.  They were on the arm of the couch where I sit.  This was expected.  But they were also on the table cloth of the side table where the lamp sits.  This was not expected.  These fresh flakes were from my scalp and my vacant scratching while watching tv.

Where would you find Fresh Flakes in your home or places you frequent?

Today I'm lucky and don't get many, but do remember the time of leaving a trail behind me.

In my smoking days I used to pick off flakes and put them in the ashtray, I remember they smelt awful when you stubbed out your cigarette.

Often used to get in the car or my truck and notice a lot on the back of the seat or on the floor.

Turn out your pockets and watch the snow flurry.

Just don't mistake them for cornflakes after a night in the bar.  Big Grin

A few in my helmet previously, not so much anymore.

By the way, the fact of having psoriasis and spreading all our DNA is perfect for murder cases.. the wild spread of our DNA makes it easy for us to say: “Evidence on the bases of DNA???? Don’t make me laugh, my DNA is literally anywhere, so that is no proof at all…. “  Big Grin  Big Grin

Maybe they could bring us back after we die by growing some flakes in a lab. 50

Don’t mention that… eek  I am reading an article about “What makes You You?”  (Or What makes Me Me?)
Interesting theories on what makes a person a person, his/her body?  His/her brain?  His/her data, like memories and so?
I am halfway, and I think its not the body, but more brain/data.
Simply, almost every part of the body can be replaced, but I still will be me..
While if my brain would be transplanted to someone else’s body…. I would still be me in that other body….. and it is getting weirder, with teleportation and so on.

Sorry to hear about your friend. That must have been hard.

I only really notice I leave flakes when my psoriasis is not under control. I still have slightly flaky skin patches at the moment and they do itch at times and yes I’d leave a few flakes, but heavy shedding that I have to vacuum up, I had associated with the meds not really working.
