We are pleased to join the Psoriasis Club.  It is mainly Tanya who does the computer stuff but it is Mike who has suffered from Psoriasis for years.  Tanya encouraged him to go to a Dermatologist and he got started on some treatments.  The treatments led to trials in Canada for approximately 20 years.  But in the end it was Taltz that I live with now!  Tanya was by my side through all the creams, lotions, IV's, lights, and injections and knows everything from my journey better than I do (can you tell she is typing......LOL).

Tanya was right to encourage you to see a dermatologist, they are the only ones that can help find something that will work for you.

Have a good look around, you are both welcome here and you will find a very friendly bunch of people that understand.

Welcome Mike and Tanya, I'm pleased you have found your way here and hope you enjoy our club, which as far as I know is the only truly independent psoriasis forum that is free to join and free from any outside influence, and freey spam   Fred has generously given us this platform to enable sufferers to exchange views and advice and keeps up to date on new treatments as they are developed
It sounds as if you've been through lots of different treatments and have settled on Taltz which I hope is working well for you, how long have you been on it and was it fast giving you clearance ?

Enjoy looking around the health boards and jumping in , as we are all friendly here  and if you find yourself with time on your hands there is a lot of fun to be had in the off topic section

Welcome to Psoriasisclub,

I hope you will enjoy yourself with us. Amazingly written Tanya, absolutely invisible it really looks like Mike is writing.
Most important things about Psoriasisclub has been written in the posts above. We share the same disease and have the same problems that unite us and besides exchanging information about the disease we have become a bunch of friends who enjoy themselves over here.

Do feel very welcome, join in, and if somethings get a bit strange then just ask.

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone.  Taltz was started about 5 years ago and the clearance was almost immediate.  There was previous treatments that worked almost as well but after so many trials and helping to get them approved in Canada Taltz seemed to be the best fit and it was approved through my insurance with much paper work.
