Thanks, Forest. I called around to dermatologist offices yesterday and found two clinics that accept my insurance, one-off which is the one I currently go to. They are in Medford which has loads of doctors! I made an appointment with the doctor accepting patients. The first opening is in 5 weeks.  OY. That seems like a long time to wait.

I made the appointment but will keep searching, maybe even traveling back to where we lived (7.5 hours away)….

I the meantime, lots of moisturizer, no alcohol, naps and patience!

Thanks, again.

Hi jfbailey

Welcome to the psoriasis club

Glad you found us and hope your next appointment goes well and you get a new treatment.  Plenty of options as you most likely saw from Jim's reply.

I am currently on Simponi....will watch out for skin lesions  Confused

Try antihistamines for itching...they can help!

Thanks Kat. Simponi worked wonders for me for about 9 years. I got skin cancer during that time but nothing serious except for lip cancer which was handled well.

Antihistamines are my pals, as is 2% lidocaine spray.
