Hi Jagendog  Welcome to the forum but like Caroline I can't really help with your question but If you enter inverse in the search facility here Search  it will show all threads that mention inverse psoriasis
And as Caroline mentioned there will be several logging in and hopefully some may be able to help
I think that if you have it in folds of skin it's best kept dry but I'm not really sure
Good luck

Sorry I have no knowledge of inverse psoriasis, I take it you have had an official diagnoses ?

Also are you seeing a dermatologist ? If not you should get a referell as they are better suited to find what will work for you.

I have made a change to your post subject and will move the thread to Psoriasis And Psoriatic Arthritis Topics as it may get picked up better by our members.

I will also put it in next months Newsletter

Welcome to Psoriasis Club by the way.  Wave

Welcome Jagendog!

I see that under treatments you say you haven't found one that works for you. It can take time to find something, and sometimes things work for awhile and then stop working so it's always a process.

I do not have inverse psoriasis so do not have any personal experience to share. I do have scalp psoriasis and it's hard to get clear (or at least has been for me!)

What have you tried? There are some topical solutions that help, I know that Taclonex (Enstilar) helps me some, but I use it rarely as I've read that too much steroid treatments thin the skin, plus it's prescription only (in the US anyway). Virgin Coconut oil helps to moisturize and is soothing. I know inverse is a bit different as in some areas you can get moisture built up. So I would definitely dry any area before applying anything to it and I personally would check with my doctor to see what they recommend.

Hope you get relief soon!

Jagendog I don't know if these threads will offer any help, but I found them by using the Search facility. I have not read through them, but there may be some hints that could help hidden up amongst the posts.

Hi Jagendog

Welcome to the psoriasis club  Welcome

I can't help much with inverse psoriasis but hopefully you will find good information on the forum

As for plaques, nails and scalp, most biologics worked well for me but we all react differently to treatments

I hope you find a treatment that works for you soon

Good luck

Thank You all for your advice on the most painful of the types I have.....INVERSE, nail, plaque and scalp. I feel I should get a gold star on my forehead for the most types (like kindergarden)
