Intro Jan in NJ

Just joined. For years I've used the clear tape, hadn't had a flare up in years. I have small patches on my shoulder and arm and a different type on my elbows. the patches on my arm are red and raw and very itchy in this heat. I can't remember what they are called. I'm pretty sure antibiotics caused this bad flare up. I stopped taking them a couple weeks ago, just when this flare up started. I am currently trying cbd cream. I am here to read and learn.

I'm not sure what "clear tape" is, but have a good look around we have a lot of members using a wide range of treatments.

Hi Jan and to the club we have lots of information here about all prescribed treatments and a lot of natural treatments are discussed. But I don't know anyone using CBD cream so will be interesting to hear your experience

Goodmorning to you, or better good night, as you probably will be sleeping. Welcome to psoriasisclub.
If you have patches, you probably have the most common type, Psoriasis vulgaris.

There is a lot to read over here, but if you get lost there is always someone to help you to find your way.

I had to look twice, but is Jan a shortcut of Janice? I first thought you were a man, as Jan is a boys named over here with us.

This is a good place to learn, I know I've certainly learned a lot since joining! I don't know what you mean by clear tape either. The heat certainly isn't helping things out. Hope you get some relief soon and keep us updated
