I'm about to start my first biologic for treatment of my very severe guttate psoriasis.  My insurance company denied coverage for Stelera, so I'm trying Cosantyx.  Anyone using Cosantyx specifically to treat guttate psoriasis?

Hi J and welcome to the club, we have several members on Cosentyx  ( not me though) so I’m sure you will get answers but a lot of members like me are from Europe and are sleeping now  but the American members may be on later and may be able to help

But I think  it’s as likely  to clear it for you as Stelara would  Thumb

See this post about Cosentyx Cosentyx (secukinumab)
And if you put “Cosentyx” in the search facility Search it will throw up a lot of threads to look at  Thumb

I don't have guttate but have been using it for psoriatic arthritis with great results. It's not going so well on the psoriasis though and I may look at changing to Taltz.

I hope it works well for you.

Welcome to Psoriasis Club by the way. Wave

I am currently taking Cosentyx with great results for my plaque/inverse psoriasis and also for my psoriatic arthritis. I am having awesome results. My psoriasis is gone and the pain from my arthritis is much, much better. I am using the prefilled syringes (pen) and give myself 2 injections once a month. You don't see the needle and I can honestly say I don't even really feel the injection. I hope you have good results with cosentyx also!!
