Must say I was out shopping once and this lady came running over to me to tell how her friend had psoriasis and she used coconut oil and it all cleared by using it!!!

Funny you say that, I had a new annoying little patch appear on my side where I had scratched myself in the garden. I've been making a point of putting some on it the last few days to keep the bugs out and it has got better.

Gonna give some a try tonight, to see how it feels....will just do the one leg for starters!

How often do you apply it? And do you slap on all over or just on the patches?

I use it everyday after a shower on any patches of psoriasis flaky or red. and now and again all over.

Okay Fred you were right, it isn't greasy at all Smile I have done half my body with the coconut oil, the other half some organic hippy tea tree cream I'll see how the week goes to start with!

It's always a good idea to test a patch for a while first. but I wouldn't think Coconut Oil would cause any problem unless you're allergic to coconuts. I've never tried Tee Tree, in fact I have given up trying most things these days, as I think a lot of natural products are far to expensive for what is in them, and they don't work for long anyway. Really happy for you Hanna. I find it difficult to explain to 'normal' people how joyous it feels to be able to unashamedly parade blotch free legs. I can't remember the last time I went to a public swimming pool so please have a swim for me. Big Grin

So the latest, I need to up my score a bit more :( my lower arms are almost back to what they were before the UVB, but apart from that my back is still doing well, more bits have appeared on my stomache and chest but not anywhere near as to what it was, also my legs instead of being covered in a great mass of plaque it is currently more like guttate.....so just loads of spots!
I was hoping that being pregnant may make psoriasis clear for a while as that what happened with my sister, but I have read so many different things that I'm not sure what will happen, just hope it doesn't become painful!!!
I still think the treatment has been worth it, and if I do get really bad I'm sure they will give me another blast at it this year!

Hello Hanna, your score is still good though Thumb Have to try and get some sun if it comes back again. Cool

I don't know much about pregnancy and psoriasis but I would imagine your hormones are all over the place and as psoriasis is an autoimmune problem I suppose things get muddled up a bit.
