Thank you all sooooo much! Everything you said was super helpful! Blush

When I most recently talked to my dermatologist he said he did believe I could have psoriatic arthritis, but, as everyone said here, it's super hard to diagnose. I am only 19, so, honestly, I can't think of anything else it could be. Luckily, I only get aches and pains once every few days, so it's not constant and is quite manageable.

I'm very much hoping that Humira will help, and I should be starting on that sometime this week!  Big Grin

There are two types of pain most with PsA complain about - pain caused from permanent joint damage, and the other is caused by the disease. The best medication to use on a casual basis is NSAIDs. Other forms of pain medication will NOT help the pain caused by the disease. The most noticeable sign of PsA is stiffness. When you wake up you have noticeable stiffness in the joints with the disease.

Okay that's good to know! I haven't had any stiffness yet, just aching in certain joints.
