Hi everyone, after three years I am finally able to find time to get back onto this forum.
Unfortunately, work can be hectic and I have to work evenings too.

I have now been on Methotrexate now for almost 6 years, I have never suffered any side effects, dosage 12.5mg weekly, but I am now finding that over the last 6/8 month's, it is just not working anymore.

I have been trying to get my Consultant Dermatologist to put me on Biologic Treatments, but because it is the NHS, they keep fobbing me off,
I know this is because of cost...!!!

I look forward to getting back here a little more regular,
Best wishes to everyone
Regards
Micky

Yes life can get busy I agree and we all have to prioritise our time, I'm . Glad you have returned and hope you can get a biological ...but do you think that you might be offered Acetretin or maybe Fumaderm like me

Look forward to hearing what treatment you get

Hope to see more of you Thumb

Are you still keeping Fred under control...???
It's difficult sometimes for me regarding time, what with work, and my Father has been very ill for a couple of years, so when I'm not working, I travel the 200 miles to Southampton to help my Mother with house repairs and Dad, etc.
Here's to getting some more time to myself for a change...!!!

Caroline and Kat keep Fred under control  Whistle  or at least they try ....but you know fred as well as we do... not an easy task
the place is much busier now with not many quiet times as you will notice .... the place is still small enough to be friendly ....which is what brings so many members back

Sounds like you have a lot on your plate looking after parents at a distance must be very stressful for you
Heres hoping  you do get some time for yourself  Thumb

Take my advice; I don't use it anyway.

Hello Micky my old Mate. Welcome back to Psoriasis Club.

Yes Caroline and Kat still keep me under control and Jim keeps my glass topped up. I couldn't do it without them Micky and it's because of them that Psoriasis Club is still here.

Yes I still hold the keys to the place and my original rason for starting it is still true today as it was the first day it started.

You may find a few changes and I still throw out the unwanted, but as you know "You will always be welcome here" so just dive on in again. We have a great bunch of members and I'm very honoured to know them all.

So you left us without notice, but that happens and we have no problem with that. All our members are volunteers and psoriasis is not something we want around us all the time, but all members are welcome back at any time.

You were with Psoriasis Club in our early days and your input was welcome so I'm pleased to see you around again.

At the last count I think you owe me three years of drinks in the Bar.
