I'm afraid I'm not to local to Manchester being down in sunny Norfolk

Hello Dave. I'm sorry but we don't have get togethers, there may be other members from your area but Psoriasis Club does organise such events and we wouldn't want to get involved in such activities

I have just found your first introduction here: hello everyone. new to this but I don't see any mention of a get together with another member. But please don't let that put you off. We have many members from all over the world offering support ad information, and although not local to you they are a good bunch of people.

That was another site. One night it just closed it's doors suddenly and left it's members without anything and no explanation.   

But we don't have a chat room or get togethers. We do however have the Members only boards and you are very welcome to join in if you wish.

Yes I think you must be muddling us up with another site, we have never had get together here, we do have a chatting thread in off topic but last time you were here you never used that ( it's not a chat room) it's a thread you can chat on [Group Specific]

I'm still using calcipotriol ointment

It's steadily got worse and went back to docs. Referred me to wythenshawe hospital in Manchester where I am being asked if I will take part in a trial.

Obviously I've jumped at the chance. Waiting for a date now

No it's because you had less than 5 posts. Now you have made 5 you should be able to get in.

It's nothing against you personally and all members go through the same process. But we are a Club and as such our active members come first. The more you post the more opens up, you should see what the forum looks like once you get to 10,000 posts.

Keep us up to date when you know what you are trialing

I hope it's a good bio drug they are trialing and you get good results
