Had these strange red patches come up on my leg about 5 days ago which I initially thought were insect bites. They don't itch at all but they don't seem to be disappearing. Is it psoriasis? No history of it in the family as far as I'm aware.

Difficult to tell. This thread lists the main types and could help. Types Of Psoriasis Explained

However I would suggest asking your GP as it's not always easy to diagnose in small amounts.

Welcome to Psoriasis Club by the way.

Regards.

Fred.

As Fred say's it's very difficult to tell, as you say they do look like bites from something like animal fleas especially as they are on you legs however I would go and see you GP as soon as you can because what ever it is needs sorting as soon as you can.
Welcome to the forum , don't take this the wrong way but I hope that it's not P so we won't see you on here unless of course you pop on to say hello .

Hi Toodles  Welcome to the club hope you find an answer here but it doesn't look like psoriasis to me, as has been mentioned it looks more like insect bites than psoriasis but there is a possibility it could be. Best to get a diagnosis from your GP and if he thinks it is psoriasis he can give you something for it , but I would get it checked out by a doctor, as we are not doctors just sufferers who have been diagnosed supporting each other and discussing treatments
