Howdy interested in what people are using as a moisturizer in the past i having been using a cream which is basically  oils and herbs , i have been using it for about 12 years now and when things get ultra itchy it calms things down . Side effects are stained clothes and strong smell so i only use it at home and mostly at night , hoping that some one might have something for every day use
Cheers Wobbly

Hi wobbly I'm like a lot of members here and use unrefined virgin coconut oil .....it soaks in well has very little smell, eases itching and is not too messy
I'm sure others are using other stuff and will no doubt tell you their favourite Thumb

Yep Coconut Oil. See here: Coconut Oil

I also use (I don't know if you can get it in your part of the world) Cadum shower gel with added coconut oil.

I use aveeno day to day, and if things are ultra itchy I have used sudocrem (the one in a pot, not the cream in a tube) which is sticky and messy but very soothing. A lot of the time I don't bother moisturising my psoriasis, keeping it moisturised doesn't reduce it in any way so I only do it if it's uncomfortable.

organic unrefined coconut oil overnight
Dermol 500 during the day as it is not greasy  - I would have this as my Desert Island product

I have been using a lanolin ointment that is a nipple cream for breast feeding mothers. The brand I use has some coconut oil so it is a little more apply-able than 100% lanolin.

Anyone else use lanolin?

Hi "spot on" and welcome Welcome to the club that's a good tip I know I haven't tried it but it sounds like a good moisturiser to me
I'm sure others will have an opinion
In the meantime have a good browse through the threads which are all available to you as a member, and if you have any questions just shout and someone will answer Thumb
