Good to hear Wobbly  Thumb . It will take a while before you see any visible improvement, although I did notice a marked reduction of the itching fairly quickly. Hopefully you will miss out on the side effects. Good stuff this coconut stuff.

Hi week 6 , last 2 weeks seem to be extra itchy , have been thinking orbital sander might be the go . Still using the coco nut oil finding it takes about 10 min and then things settle down , but a part from that all is well loving no big flakes . Hope every one is happy and well

Glad You are coping down under, but the acetretin seems a bit slow, I can't remember what dose you are on . Is there room for your dermatologist to increase it , as you seem to be tolerating it well
Im glad the big flaking has stopped .... So you're heading in the right direction and summer is nearly with you, as we seem to be finished with it  Confused

Hello Wobbly, at least it's working that's the main thing. It can take time to find something that works, but it sounds like you're heading in the right direction.

Glad to hear the coconut oil is helping, I'm a big fan. But "Orbital Sander" that could be dangerous with slippery hands, try using it before the coconut oil.  Big Grin

Hi on the 23rd sep Doctor upped my rate from 25mg to 50 mg which is nearly  4 weeks ago,  the only side affects so far was last week dry lips felt like they were sun burnt . lasted about 5 days and back to normal , my Doctor seems happy with my skin but i am not seeing much change , but still positive about this drug . Been a little stressed my lovely mum in law passed away [ she was a great person ] and also building a house right now , so probably my P is a bit reactive right now .  But we is still  Smile looking forward to summer    Thumb
