Welcome Chris , what a crap problem P is and yes I found that stress did not help at all . You will find that this site has more information on P/PsA than anywhere else I have found and all the inmates will answer any questions you ask truthfully as they are speaking from experience not theory like most health care so called professionals .
Most of the inmates are barmy especially the bare one but we are all friendly and Fred does a fantastic job keeping the site free from people trying to push rubbish.
Have a good look around and ask away what ever you want to know .

Hi everyone, 

I am in my 30's, from New York. I've been dealing with psoriasis since I was 19, though it was only on my scalp at that time. Since then, I have had flare ups that have taken more and more of my body. I saw remission once, when I was very active and it was glorious, but I have since reverted back. I believe my case of psoriasis to be directly related to the stress in my life and my lifestyle. I work a lot and have given everything to work in the past. 

It would be nice to be part of a community that understands the joys of living with psoriasis so I look forward to speaking with you.

Hi Chris welcome to our group you will really enjoy this group we are serious when need be but we also have fun.Stree is not good for Psorosis but then you have to work and almost impossible to get away from stress while working.I just retired a few years ago but still get stressed from time to time.Just things in life that we all go thru?I live near Pittsburgh Pa about 6 hrs from New York.It is definitely a rat race there but a beautiful place.Again welcome !

It is difficult to rid oneself of stress and I think I would find something to stress about even if I were waited on hand and foot and never had to work another day in my life. Changing one's perspective is a difficult thing, but I am working on it. I don't want stress to be my undoing.

Welcome to the club.
Everyone here is so friendly. I joined a few months ago and I am so much happier now I can share my feelings and progress etc with fellow sufferers who understand.
I think it has even brought down my stress levels.
