Hi all...

Ï'm new here... I just stumbled about this forum a few weeks ago while I was looking for some info/experiences about a possible Etretinato/Acitritin treatment that my Doc proposed to me.

That was real good Info that I found here... Especially it was the Story of kh924 that gave me the motivation to start with this treatment.

I'm now two weeks with this... Not sure... but I beleve it somehow works... All those heavy plaque-spots slowly turn into light red spots only. But they itch like hell !!! Yes really!!! Like  Hell!!!! Can hardly sleep with this ;(


Well... Anyway... Still full of hope...  let's see...

Like yourself I m 2 weeks into Acitretin and things are progressing slowly. My itching has diminished a massive amount, but the skin shedding is horrific. Its like an explosion in a fish food factory in my bedroom, the Dyson is beginning to complain.
I take it you moisturise, the forums go to product is virgin coconut oil. Give it a go if you've never tried it. For the itching , have you tried antihistamines? They work for me, but as you will come to realise very quickly everybody is so very different in the way things work   .

Kelly (kh924) posted some really good information during her journey with Acitretin! I found it helpful as well. I'm glad you are already noticing some improvement, for me it took a couple of months but once I started to notice it working, things moved fairly quickly.

Very nice that you picked up the results of Kelly to start your own treatment.
Remember that, if it fails, that is possible, we are all different, there are many more possibilities.
