Hello everyone. I look forward to participating in the forums. I've had P from the age of 7 and have learned to live with it without too much trouble, even though it fluctuates in its severity. We all have to live with it, so I expect there are many coping methodologies in play. I can't say it has not affected my life or confidence at times, but age brings tolerance of others' intolerance so I don't go out of my way to hide it. Have a great day.

Hi Vanessa and a big

to the forum ...I'm glad you have found us and hope will find the site interesting. It is packed with useful information put together by Fred who runs the site and supplemented with members own experiences of treatment......you will find us a friendly bunch and willing to share our experiences
Feel free to look around the health boards you will find you will not see any adverts and will not be spammed so you can feel comfortable knowing you are just among a community of psoriasis sufferers and as a member you will notice there are more boards to view including the popular off topic forum
I look forward to hearing more from you and if you need any help navigating around just shout someone will rush to help
You seem to have a good attitude about the disease which I admire

Hello Vanessa

to Psoriasis Club.
I have heard from others that getting it young has helped them cope with it easier than those that get it as an adult. And you are right when you say about age, I found as I got older and accepted it was here to stay showing it and talking about it gets easier.
Regards.
Fred.
EDIT: I see you use Diet. Help yourself to the Gingerbread people "Ginger is a good anti-inflammatory" but they will soon all be gobbled up, so get in quick.

Hi Vanessa and welcome to the club.
In spite of how it looks we are relatively tame and easy going. Good to see someone who has developed a healthy attitude to their psoriasis. Enjoy you time on here and don’t be afraid to get involved.
