Hello Ali  Welcome to Psoriasis Club.

Have you seen a dermatologist? If not it's well worth asking your GP to refer you to one. They are much better suited to finding something that will help as your GP can only prescribe the creams.

Regards.

Fred.

That'll be Methotrexate. It's nasty stuff, some do ok on it but it's poison in my opinion.

Methotrexate

Have a look through some of these threads to see what's available: Prescribed Treatments For Psoriasis

For the inside of your ears you could try Dovonex or Dexeryl. But have you ever tried Coconut Oil ? I'm a big fan, it wont completley get rid of it but it can help a lot with places like your ears.

Coconut Oil

Hi Alistair,

Welcome to psoriasis club.
Nice that you are joining us.

Sensible of you to refuse the MTX, I have the same opinion on it as Fred has. It's chemo-like.

There are other treatments and you can insist with your dermatologist to talk them over with you. But first do look around on the forum, there is a lot of information to consume.
If you have questions, just answer them.

Cheers,
Caroline
