Your post gave me some great pointers and I have now cured my psoriasis.

Epson salt baths really helped.
Changing my diet to gluten/dairy/sugar free mostly stopped the flareups.
Coconut oil dissolved in warm water with a squeeze of lemon, raw garlic, both these helped.
I decided not to use any moisturisers during the change of diet.

6 weeks into it and my hands are 99% back to normal. My feet are still recovering but 90% there.

Thanks

Alan

Those are great points and I admire anyone who is willing to go the natural route. I would be cautious on the word "cure" however as although different meds and perhaps diets can help manage psoriasis, cure is a very strong word and there is currently no known cure for this disease.

Hi Alan

Thats sounds great .my  psoriasis is long gone now , I never even think about it now
I still chuck a cup off magnesium (epsom salts) in the bath as its the best way to get it into your body
and i do feel all the other benefits from it , same as the Coconut oil ,Lemon, And hemp oil i still take them to,  for all the other
benefits nowadays

Good luck with it

Keith

Cheers Keith

I'm glad to see the back of this thing. It's well under control now and I'll be returning to work in a week, can't wait to fully return to normal. Thanks for the pointers, your post was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction.

Thanks

Alan

What do you eat? When thinking about this type of diet, it's hard for me to imagine the types of meals I would have. Any insight would be helpful.

Hi chrisp

I've posted a thread which has details of what I can eat. It's surprising what you can eat when you remove gluten/dairy/sugar.

Cheers

Alan

Thank you Caroline for the link. I will try searching in the future. It was partially excitement reading about Alan's success and and partially being in a rush.

Thank you Alan for sharing your experience. At the very least it gives hope that there is a way to beat this condition.

Ok Chris, I am happy to share or point you to information, as not always it is easy to search and get the results you are looking for. It is the overall attitude on this forum on helping each other to the information you are searching for. Humans are always better in answering questions than "search".
