Can't explain this. In average my immune system seems to be better that that of most of my healthy collegues.

I seem to be on an every other year flu shot schedule. It's suppose to be every year and I've never had any illness afterward. The years that I missed getting the shot, I was fortunate in that I didn't get the flu.

I think it depends on the person, what meds they are on, how they react etc. Although I think most doctors would suggest everyone get it (except for perhaps a few) Since the strains of flu change, I'm not sure how or if that affects the possible reactions as they change the vaccine.
