Hi I'm Brad from Florida.  I've had psoriasis for nearly 15 years. I've been on most biologics including enbrel, stalera, methotrexate thrown in with some, remecade and now cosentyx. I've used enough creams and lotions to fill up a swimming pool. I'll keep you all posted on how well the cosentyx works. Glad to be here with fellow sufferers

Great to see you starting your own thread...... so although I said hi elsewhere on here I would now like to greet you again so    to the club where you will find a great group of folk from around the world all with the dreaded psoriasis in common, some of us are suffering and some like myself are enjoying a scale free time.
We all tend to lend a sympathetic ear to any member in need of support and when we are down we are glad to come here for support. I hope you enjoy your time with us and I look forward to reading how you progress with the Cosentyx. Yours will be the first on here to post that you have started the drug. So your words may well help others contemplating Cosentyx

I'm sure your experience of Cosentyx will be well read it's so new it will be good to hear first hand of your experience, which I hope will be all good. I'm sure  I will follow with great interest. Have you started on the Cosentyx yet or are you still waiting for supplies ?

Thank you Jim. Yes I had my first injection on Monday and the second dose came by overnight delivery to my house today . My doctor who does a lot of psoriasis research said Cosentyx had great results in the trials . Although I had good results with remicade, taking a shot at home certainly beats sitting in a hospital for 4 hours every 2 months. I'll keep you all posted

I know it's early days yet but are you noticing any differences yet ?
And your doctor is right Cosentyx has had very good results and is even approved in Japan now if you put Cosentyx in the search facility above you can read of all the approvals

Hi Brad welcome to our group you will find a friendly group of fellow psoriasis suffers here. We try to help one another with our experiences. What helps one person may not help another. I myself was on Remicade and had a bad reaction that ended up with me going to the emergency room had a hard time breathing. So I was taken off for 6 months and now on Enbrel 50mg. It's helping my psoriatic arthritis and is working on my psoriasis but slowly. So I'll see if in time it helps me. Take care and
