I don't think the gastro problems would make me not try it, as you and Jim both have mentioned no problems with it. But, I could be one of the unlucky few (although probably not) and I can understand why some might see that (especially if they already have some type of gastric problem) and be leary. I'm not as specific as a lot of you here who have followed the information on the different treatments available, simply because I lack the knowledge. I am on Acitretin because the doctor prescribed it and I didn't know anything about what to use (plus doc said to try this before biologics so I thought it was a matter of working my way up the medication lists and stopping at the simplest solution, now my thoughts are a bit different)

I've had medicines with some non desirable side effects, and usually I don't suffer from them. So, I think it's back to one person may do well on a certain treatment, where another person may not. I wouldn't let the numbers from the study dissuade me from trying it (now if it said 30% had seizures, or died, or developed a lifelong something then that would be different.) If the gastro side effects show up and become a problem for someone on it, they can try something else. I don't think one will know if it's a problem for them until they try it. I mean if it caused me to have stomach issues and I could use something else that worked and caused me no issues, then I'm going for the no issues. Smile
