Philips launch wearable light treatment for psoriasis

Has anyone had experience of any other hand held UVB lamps as I was talking to someone today and he was thinking of buying one there are two he was interested in but a vast difference in price between £129 and one at over £1000 looking on eBay I was wondering if they were effective and what others thought of them, or if anyone had tried one.

You can get them almost for free in the recycling shops over here.
You know,those shops where you can bring goods that are still good and then are sold for a good purpose. If you try to bring an UV solar thing over there, they will even not accept it, too much of them are brought over there.

Oh yes they do work, but you have to lie under it a very long time.

No sorry I meant "don't work" as in they don't help psoriasis, otherwise people would keep them.
