Well Stephen if it's not working I wouldn't wait for the dermatologist to have her baby. I would tell the locum that you need a change for the sake of your sanity.... Mention that you have read on here the various other treatments used by members. Tell him you hear that Fumaderm is being prescribed in the uk and you really need something to clear your skin.
If they do give it to you though it won't be a quick fix, but when it does start to work , it should change your life, well it did mine.
I do hope you get some support from your dermatologist, and they help you to get clear again soon

Morning everyone, I am sorry if I did not reply to any messages last night it's just I am a full time carer for my mum and I had to go and help her. Thank you all for your kind words, I know 't know anyone here yet but I hope to soon. I am going to see the locum in July but I get my next batch of Infliximab on the 12th May so I hope it will give me some relief. My consultant is not due back until January so I will have to see what happens.

Glad you came back to read the messages, you don't need to rush back we all have other lives away from the forum. And you may not always get instant response.
Being a full time carer for your mum must be quite stressful, I know when my mother was alive and I cared for her. It was very stressful the last few years.
Can't you push for an earlier appointment as you don't want to be struggling between now and July
I hope your current medication kicks in again on the 12th of this month, if it doesn't . Do make a nuisance of yourself with your doctor if it doesn't, and press for a change. When you are suffering July seems a long way off and waiting till January if you are unhappy tell them you can't wait....
In the meantime as Fred and others have said on here do try to stay positive, if you feel low do come back and talk that is the purpose of this club/forum.
Go into the off topic for general light hearted chats or even to have a rant. Believe me we've all done it and it helps.
