Hi everyone, I hope you are all ok. I was wondering if you could help me. The last few days the Psoriasis has been so sore and none of the creams I use are working. Do ay of you know of some that you have used that may help me please? I have used Oilatum, Dovobet and many others that I can't remember the names. Thank you all so much. thanks

I found with most of the creams it's best to switch sometimes as they seem to stop working, have you tried Dovonex or Silkis they could be worth a try.

But for a very good moisturiser I can vouch for Coconut Oil, if you use it twice or three times a day it will help considerably.

More on Coconut oil here. Coconut Oil

I find dermovate a very good and powerful ointment it should be used sparingly. But I always have a small tube by me as it's the thing that works for me if I get a flare up, which I haven't for ages.
Jim

Edit
I just read Fred's post and I agree for something available today coconut oil will give fastest relief but try to get dermovate from your doctor when it's open again

Thank you I am hoping to get an appointment on Tuesday with my Doctor. Does anyone think that Psoriasis makes people shiver because I can't stop shivering?

Stephen do get some coconut oil before Tuesday it may help.
How badly are you covered if it's really bad and dry and cracking it could cause you to shiver

There is a form of psoriasis that can make you shiver, but it's very rare. It's called Erythrodermic Psoriasis and you can read a bit about here and there is a link to some photo's Erythrodermic Psoriasis

But remember it is rare, however if you look at the pictures and you have intense itching or burning with skin redness you should get yourself to a GP or Hospital.

If it is bad at least go to a walk in centre or hospital as it's a reaction your body is having

Remicade is notorious for causing infections and drug reactions. If you are shaking, I'd contact your doctor. As for it not working, there is a possibility your body has built up drug antibodies. There is an overly priced test for it, but it's easier to switch drugs. Stelara would next best option for biologics.

Hydrogen Perioxide / MG217 Coal Tar (Walgreens) / Baking soda

Tea Tree oil or Eucalyptus oil when Hydrogen Perioxide or Baking soda lose their effectiveness.

Baking soda also works great at removing the scales from your skin so you can reapply your medicine of choice.
