Hello everyone!Wave

Just wondering if anyone is or has taken any vitamins to help their skin. I was taking vitamin e and vitamin d tablets, don't know if they made any difference!

Did anyone notice any change in their skin?

I have cut the vitamin e capsules open and applied them directly to the guttate spots but it didn't seem to be doing anything, has anyone else tried this and had good results?

Thank you and hope the sun is shining where you areCool

xx

These Vit D threads may be of interest. But no I have never used them, I prefer to get my own vitamins naturally.

Vitamin D the natural way.

Indeed I wanted to point to the article(s) Fred is pointing to.

I have used so called Giga vitamin D3 capsules. I could not feel a relation between my PsA and the use of the vitamin, maybe because I already get enough ?

I wouldn't take vitamins or supplements unless your derm is ok with it; some systemic drugs and or creams either contain them or something that acts like one. Taking vitamins or supplements can possibly negate the effects of the drug or cause overdose symptoms. Vitamin D can be helpful with psoriasis, but low amounts are also known to cause flares.

Toxins are eliminated from the body by the liver and the kidneys.
You should get all needed vitamines from your food not suplements.

I would agree with this post, but would recommend you follow your doctor. If your extremely deficient in something, you may need a supplement.
