Board Removal

I'm thinking of removing a couple of boards and would like your feedback.

Junior Lounge: This board was on a trial run, but it's not being used so I propose removing it.

Please Help Me: This board is often being misunderstood on it's use, and I move more threads from here than any other board. It's not working as I intended it to, so I propose on removing it.

I will give it a few days before removing them and welcome your comments.

If junior lounge is not being used, it is logical to remove it.

What was your intention with the Please Help board then?

The junior was worth a try but we dont have enough active young members. so yes remove it.

Caroline the way I understood the help me baord was if a member is feeling desperate for someone to talk to they would make a new thread and those that subscribed would offer support. I was for this board orginaly but latley when i get a notification I read the thread and it's not asking for help by someone who is feeling depressed or desperate. members seeking someone to talk to will still be able to post in P & Psa for help so I say yes remove it.

The idea behind the Please Help Me board was like Troll said. If a member was feeling desperate and I don't like using this word but "Suicidal" they would be able to start a new thread. Other members who are able to offer support could subscribe and receive an email, they would then know it is an important thread and would get there as soon as possible to help.

Unfortunately even though I have put a message asking members to leave the Please Help Me board free for those that need it, there have been quite a few threads that would be better suited in Psoriasis & Psoriatic Arthritis topics. I have to make a decision on whether they should be moved or not which causes me extra work, and those that do subscribe are rushing in to help someone who is asking a basic question, and people answering posts in that board have dropped off.

So it's not working as I wanted it to, and I don't want to put people off posting by telling them I have had to move their thread.

If anyone has a better way of working it please let me know.

If I hear no more on this thread I will remove Junior Lounge and Please Help Me this Sunday 14th.

I will put threads from Please Help Me in Psoriasis And Psoriatic Arthritis Topics. And move Kath's thread from Junior Lounge to Off Topic as it was a member only board.
