Hi Emma, My name is also Emma! I joined a while back, but forgot that this site existed for a while. I also have guttate psoriasis. It just came up for the first time about a year ago and has been a constant battle ever since. I recently had my first outbreak on my face, which was incredibly upsetting. I am currently a student, and it was right during a really stressful week of paper writing etc., which I am sure was part of what set it off. But needless to say, it was incredibly upsetting.
So yeah, just wanted to say hi, and that I understand how much it sucks to have psoriasis on your face.

Welcome to the forum!
Sorry to hear from the psoriasis in your face, indeed that must be very stressful for you. A situation where stress generates even more stress by its expression on your face.
Explaining the why of the psoriasis to your friends is probably the best to do. That will relieve the stress for you.

Furthermore there is a lot to read on this forum, most of the reading you can do is built on experience and opinions of ourselves. That is the great thing of this forum, it has no relations with industries.

If you have questions, need ideas, whatever, ask ! We are a nice bunch of people over here.

Hello Emma and to Psoriasis Club.

Psoriasis on the face is one of the worst as you cant really hide it like you can other parts of your body. I did make a thread about Skin Camouflage in the hope others would have some ideas to pass on, but only Hanna & Caroline chipped in. you can find it here: Skin Camouflage and you & others are welcome to add ideas to it.

Yep stress is one of the worst things for psoriasis, so you have to learn to live with it. There is no cure but lots of things can help, and anyway it's not that bad having psoriasis, it's a great excuse for lazing around in the sun.
