Also, if the treatment does not work, insist on going to the next level of treatment.
Because with the NHS, if you don't tell them you want results, you won't get anywhere, you know how tight the NHS are...!!!

Fantastic news. I agree with Fred. If the coal tar doesn't work then keep pushing.

I started off on that myself, then various creams, then UVA and finally cyclosporin. Months and months of it. I do understand that my Dermatologist didn't want to rush straight in with the 'big guns' (they do have potentially bad side effects) so it was a slow and cautious but effective progression for me.

I'm doing well now (apart from this upcoming blip).
