Yes, I have read this before. Bit scary.
But I wonder what is the cause of it.
Imagine you have PsA or RA and when you move everything you are moving hurts. What would be your reaction?
Maybe you would move less as this brings you in pain...
Maybe you would compensate your pain by eating more sweet stuff.. ?? Who knows.
But one thing is for sure.. if you don't move, or move less, than it is more or less logical that you need less food, if you don't eat less, you will get fatter.
If you get fatter than obese and cardiovascular problems may be closer that you think.
Maybe the combination of oxydants in your blood because of the PsA or RA even enhance this effect.
I would like to see some more research that not only just does some statistics on numbers but also does some statistics on way of life.
That would make this a thousand times more valuable.
