Hi Danny and welcome   to the club, im glad you have made your way here as in my opinion it's the best site for independent advice and support and certainly the only independent forum, free from ads and spam, here you will just get the advice of Psoriasis sufferers just like yourself, the club has been formed as a platform for us to exchange views on the various treatments that are available, and Fred has built up a great library of the latest research and treatments coming on line ....so I hope you enjoy your experience here and a great way to learn what's happening is to subscribe to the newsletter then it will appear once a month in your

Regarding your treatment with steroid creams, I would tell the doctor that they are innefective and designed for short term use to mask the disease .....I'm not sure how much Psoriasis you have, but the fact that you have searched out this forum,  leads me to believe that it's a worry to you, tell your doctor it's affecting your quality of life and don't accept no for an answer.

Ask as many questions as you can think of here, then  you can go back to your doctor with a few facts to argue with
