Welcome!
My psoriasis started a couple of years ago and was mainly on my ears. I showed them to two doctors who both diagnosed me with dermatitis and gave me steroid creams. Finally after it was only getting worse, I was referred to a dermatologist who diagnosed me with erythrodermic psoriasis. I admit to a lot of confusion over the different types, but my understanding is that erythrodermic can occur with poorly managed psoriasis (with me going 2 years without treatment I think was the cause) or an infection.
I hope the medicines start to work for you soon, if not I would contact your doctor as it's not something you want to let go.
