And yes it's a nasty form of psoriasis that's right but it seems as if your dermatologist is treating it right with methotrexate it's one of the recognised treatments
 But if it doesn't work there are other systemic treatments like acetretin they can give you.
But give the methotrexate time to work and it should clear it up
