The stages are difficult to predict as it effects people in different ways. Some only get a small problem and some can get a huge problem, then you also have to throw psoriatic arthritis into the mix. That can come as a shock and ranges from mild to severe. Unfortunately there is no one suit fits all and we all have to find what works for us, the good news is that things are moving on and there is much more in the way of treatments in the pipeline.
The creams rarely last long if it's severe and most do better on an Oral or Bio treatment. But the important thing to remember that it is going to be with her for the rest of her life. It can be managed, but not cured.
As for natural. I'm not a fan myself as it's not something I could do and the evidence from our members of long time remission is lacking. But if she wants to try then this section may help. Natural Treatments For Psoriasis
I'm sure others will have different opinions, but I like to tell it how it is. Sam has a good Mum and well done you for joining us, just shout out somewhere you will find a friendly bunch always willing to help. We know it's difficult for family members as they feel unable to help, and to be honest sometimes you need as much support as us.
