If you think you have sleep apnea, I'd suggest getting tested as since I've been put on a CPAP machine, I do sleep better at night. Although I don't like wearing the mask, I've become used to it and after getting over feeling like Darth Vadar at first (no, it's not that bad but you can at times hear yourself breathing) it really has helped. I have fallen asleep without putting on the mask (mine is very small and uses nasal pillows so does not cover my nose or mouth) I always wake up after an hour or two, with the mask on I sometimes get a full 8 hours of sleep although I'll admit that I still often do not sleep the entire night without waking at least once.
