Queen Mary University to develop a targeted approach to psoriasis treatment

I have appointment with my dermatologist on Monday for my first session of phototherapy so I will ask then, and if any thing else anyone wants to know? I will also tell her about this site, hopefully she can pass it on to others. I didn't really have much info on P so this site has helped me lots.... Even if it is knowing other people are going through it.

Just a small question though, has anyone had photopherapy? What's it like?...teeny bit nervous.

Don't be nervous it will not hurt a bit. My last time having it was about 10 years ago. I have asked for it since, but I am told I have had my lifetime limit. Hence I am on tabs.
You will find after a couple of weeks you will be sporting a fine tan and hopefully the psoriasis will have receded, and you will be happy taking your shirt off and showing the missus and anyone else that cares to look

You can if you want when you see your dermo print off a small poster from Fred's page "Support psoriasis club " and ask if you can pin it up or perhaps she may like to keep it for reference
