I have myself have never tried bathing in porridge but I have heard of the oats in a stocking trick.
I don't think it matters if you are covered all over or just a few spots the same amount of oats may help
It's worth a go
Failing that my advice would be get your doctor to refer you to a dermatologist , to try to get a long term solution

Quote:ello Folks Fiftyplus here, All I want to do is write on the forum, and I\m not sure why I can't?...Anyway I need to get this down before I forget, one of my work mates tried the oates tied up in the sock part of an old pair of tights, you know, and let it in the bath while she soaked, and it worked for her for a little while anyway...I did think long and hard about trying this out considering that she only had a small patch on the top of her foot. After a couple of weeks it worked and she was so pleased... now here's the Bug Bear Grizzly ( no pun intended) for me to use this method I would have to bathe in porridge up to my neck...and I have to be honest here, I'm not a lover of sticky, but anything is worth a go. see you later
