Hi there Sam
I joined this forum just a few weeks ago and have received more useful info here than I have in the last 40 years from my GP / various dermatologists.
Over the past few decades I have been through various prescribed creams, phototherapy sessions - both UVA and UVB and am now trying Fumaderm for the second time. I couldn't cope the first time around and foolishly dropped off the treatment. A few weeks ago I was 85% covered with plaque psoriasis - now I reckon its down to 15% and not in any visible areas at the moment.
This time, like you, I am DETERMINED to get this bloody thing under control and I've started a journal with photos on this site. You are welcome to look through it of course. I've put it in the members only section which I think you'll be able to access - should you want to of course! - after you have made 10 posts on the forum.
Good luck to you - hope to chat with you regularly as you progress through your treatment. I guess you need to gather as much information (ammunition!) as you can before your dermatologist appointment comes through.
Welcome to the site
Cheers
Kit
